Camden National Bank acquired Union Trust in January 2008 and made a division of Camden, serving Ellsworth, Bar Harbor and Downeast Maine. All systems and operations were combined during 2008.
The bank said aside from rebranded promotional materials, the renaming process for customers and stakeholders of Union Trust will be seamless. Union Trust employees, locations, products, services, account numbers, hours and ATM locations will not be impacted.
In addition, the bank added that the name change will not impact employees or the communities of Union Trust.
