The agreement includes installation of approximately 1,260 ATMs, Agilis software, and remote management and maintenance services for the bank’s entire ATM fleet.

Diebold said out of the bank’s network of nearly 1,400 ATMs, approximately 1,260 Diebold Opteva ATMs have been deployed under the agreement to date.

In addition to the outsourcing agreement, Banco Davivienda also selected Diebold to provide security solutions for its ATM network.

According to the Diebold, the goal to enhance the bank consumer’s ATM experience and to have a single vendor for ATM network are the some of the critical factors that prompted Colombian bank to select Diebold services.

Banco Davivienda vice president of operations Orlando Duran said that this agreement allows the bank to be innovative, have other features that the ATMs do not currently have, such as marketing campaigns and surveys. It has also allowed to make quick decisions.
