The company has appointed Phyllis Skene-Stimac as new senior vice president and chief compliance officer and Patricia Sullivan as senior vice president of communications.
Stimac will join MoneyGram with 20 years of experience in running compliance programs for financial services institutions, most recently as deputy chief compliance officer at Western Union.
MoneyGram said that Stimac’s global experience in anti-money laundering and regulatory programs will be instrumental in advancing its global compliance efforts.
Sullivan will be responsible for reputation management, internal and external communications and helping to build positive and consistent brand awareness.
She will join MoneyGram with over 20 years of marketing and public relations experience in consumer brands and financial services. Most recently, he was senior director of communications for Blockbuster.
