Kilpatrick replaces Timothy Vara, recently named as head of the Transaction Management for BNY Mellon Corporate Trust.
Previously, he held the position from February 2009 to December 2010.
In his new role, Kilpatrick will oversee the company’s broad range of trust, custody and agency services offered to issuers of debt and institutional investors.
In 1999, Kilpatrick joined BNY Mellon and served as head of client and business development in the US for BNY Mellon Corporate Trust.
He was responsible for the US corporate trust business, comprising over 12,000 clients in financial institutions, corporations, insurance companies and public, not-for profit entities.
With over 25 years experience in the corporate trust industry, Kilpatrick has held a variety of management positions in operations, account administration and sales.
Most recently, he served as the head of global business development and marketing for BNY Mellon Corporate Trust.
