The credit card include CIBC Aventura World MasterCard, the CIBC Dividend Unlimited World MasterCard and the CIBC Aventura MasterCard.
To complete the transaction, cardholders can simply tap their PayPass-enabled MasterCard card on a reader for transactions at participating stores.
According to the MasterCard, currently there are more than 13,000 PayPass accepting merchants in Canada.
MasterCard Canada president Betty DeVita said that Canadians have embraced the tap-and-go convenience of PayPass, which gives cardholders the ability to purchase what they want, quickly, and without having to rely on cash on hand.
CIBC executive vice-president of Card Products Cheryl Longo said CIBC is the largest Visa credit card issuer in Canada.
"Through the launch of new MasterCard products today we can now offer consumers more rewards, more features and more choice in credit cards," Longo said.
