Doyle will be based in the firm’s London office. He brings 12 years of investment banking experience and will join the firm from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was most recently head of European lodging and gaming investment banking.
Jefferies global head of investment banking and capital markets Benjamin Lorello said the lodging and gaming sectors of Europe are undergoing significant changes and represent important areas for both corporate and sponsor-based financing and M&A activity over the next several years.

Jefferies joint head of European investment banking Dominic Lester and Gaming and Lodging Investment (REGAL) banking European head of real estate Simon Hampton said in a joint statement that the company is pleased to welcome Steffen to the European investment banking team, and believe his cross-border experience and client relationships will be immediately accretive to the existing European REGAL franchise and will integrate extremely well with the US REGAL franchise.
