In addition, Schubiger will also be a member of the group executive management reporting directly to Zeno Staub, CEO of the Vontobel Group.
Over the last 10 years, Schubiger has held various senior management functions within the Northern European Danske Bank Group, where he was most recently a member of the executive board.
He also brings with him experience of conducting business in Eastern Europe and Russia, which are among the Vontobel Group’s focus markets.
Staub said that Georg Schubiger will lead the further development of Vontobel Private Banking and will realign the business in a targeted manner to reflect the new realities in the finance industry.
Vontobel specializes in wealth management for private clients and asset management for institutional investors, as well as in investment banking.
