According to the bank, the new hiring is part of the company’s plan to hire 1,000 small business bankers across the nation by June 2012.

Bank of America Southeast region sales executive Steve Turner said the bank is pleased to announce that small businesses in the Carolinas will have access to a new level of expertise to help them grow and thrive.

"By working with one of our small business bankers, small businesses will have more resources to help them better manage their cash flow so they can run their businesses more efficiently," Turner added.

Small business bankers will provide advices to small business owners and train them on solutions to help with their operations including deposit, credit and cash management needs.

The bank hiring spree including 32 hiring in North Carolina, 13 hiring in South Carolina, and these newly appointed bankers will support more than one million small businesses in the Carolinas, said the firm.

Bank of America credit to small businesses grew by 20% during the fiscal 2011.

Bank of America manages 57 million consumer and small business relationships with nearly 5,700 retail banking offices, almost 17,750 ATMs and 30 million active users online banking.
