The payment processing arrangement with Chase Paymentech will offer GM dealerships a range of payment options, including debit, fleet and gift cards.

Fleet cards, used by major federal and state government entities and private companies that own multiple vehicles, will be used to pay for service and parts that their employee drivers may need. By offering both fleet and gift cards, GM dealerships will have more opportunities to drive up revenues and increase customer loyalty.

In addition, Chase Paymentech, in cooperation with Aspen, is targeting a launch of the new program within the coming weeks.

Aspen manages the GM Customer Sales and Service Retention (CSSR) program and formerly offered CrediNet (Dealer Merchant Services Program).

Aspen creates direct marketing programs for GM which are designed to engage/retain customers and drive them to the GM Dealership for new car sales and service.
