Potesta will be responsible for key firm relationships in the national broker dealer channel. She will be based in New York and report to Michael Woods, a managing director, CEO and US Head of distribution for DWS Investments Distributors.
Potesta has more than 15 years experience working with asset managers, banks, insurance companies, regional and national broker dealer firms.
She will join DWS Investments from First Eagle Funds where she served as a director and head of National Accounts, responsible for strategic business development and management of all client relationships.
Prior to First Eagle Funds in 2008, Potesta worked as a vice president, national account manager at Allianz Global Investors.
DWS Investments manages over $128b in retail and retirement assets in more than 146 mutual funds and variable insurance portfolios across all major asset categories in the US.
