As part of the agreement, Global Payments Europe will provide authorization services, card management services, bank card personalization data preparation, fraud monitoring, ATM and POS management, e-commerce, and SMS account alerting services.
Furthermore, the electronic transaction processing company will provide technological insight, which will enable Starbank to more easily expand its services throughout the Russian Federation.
Starbank plans to begin issuing credit cards in summer 2007.
