Heartland has leased a 2500 sf space in a new development at 3971 Main Street, in cooperation with Crawford Hoying. The public is invited to celebrate the groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, August 26 (4 p.m.) and the bank is currently seeking team members for this new office.

The new location will feature a twist on the bank’s traditional branching model but will still feature two drive-through lanes, a drive up ATM machine and night depository. This marks the thirteenth location in Central Ohio for Gahanna based Heartland BancCorp, which recently surpassed $680 million in total assets.

"Hilliard is one of Columbus’ most vibrant communities and their residents are passionate about their hometown heritage. The citizens of Hilliard deserve a community bank, and we aim to fill that need and engage with them as we’re accustomed to doing in the other communities we serve," said G. Scott McComb, Chairman, President and CEO.

"The City of Hilliard is excited to welcome Heartland Bank as our newest community partner," stated Mayor Don Schonhardt. "Heartland Bank’s investment in a new banking facility will be a wonderful addition to Old Hilliard. Additionally, it will provide local businesses and community organizations with the needed financial services that will directly support projects impacting our local economy in a positive way."
