The new firm will use global diversification to help clients meet their goals through managed volatility and the potential for more consistent returns.
EverBank chief investment officer Tim Swanson said: "EverBank Wealth Management’s philosophy aims to reduce asset correlations and create sophisticated investment solutions designed to withstand varying market conditions."
The institutional-level approach also connects individual investors to a wider variety of sophisticated products and investment opportunities including exposure to domestic and international assets and equities, as well as alternative asset classes such as global currencies, metals, absolute return funds and managed futures.
EverBank serves 575,000 customers across the US and had $10.3bn in assets as of the end of 2011.
The firm offers investments in foreign currencies and in precious metals and works with more than 200 broker-dealers and investment advisory.
