Bank of America customers will still be able to use the ATMs for free. In addition, the price increase will not apply to off-site Bank of America ATM locations, including malls, airports and convenience stores.
Bank of America’s decision to hike up fees comes amid a widespread increase in no-fee ATM networks, in which allied banks’ non-customers are not obligated to pay ATM transaction charges at other member banks.
