In his new role, Kopsk will be responsible for sourcing and originating military housing bond issue transactions.
Kopsky brings to Jefferies more than 25 years of experience and joins the firm from American Stock Transfer and Trust Company, where he was executive vice president and CFO.
Previously, he was an executive vice president and chief financial and accounting office for Capmark Financial Group.
Prior to that, he was a senior vice president at Reinsurance Group of America (RGA) and held a similar role at Nationwide Insurance Group.
He previously spent five years as an executive vice president and CFO at Conning Corporation / SwissRe Group and 11 years at KPMG.
Jefferies’ Global Mortgage- and Asset-Backed Securities group includes approximately 100 sales, trading and origination professionals in the US, London, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
