National Bank Financial Group, a brand name used by National Bank of Canada, has enhanced its Platinum MasterCard by adding new benefits. Platinum cardholders will now be covered for hospital and medical travel insurance, according to the bank.
The bank has also said that the cardholders will also be entitled to receive three additional cards, and the maximum ‘Car Rental’ insurance coverage is now extended from 31 to 48 consecutive days.
The Platinum MasterCard also offers an A la carte rewards plan that allows cardholders to earn 1.5 points for every dollar spent, which they can exchange for a selection of rewards. Platinum cardholders can also use their points to travel, allowing them to choose the travel agency, destination and airline, and last-minute deals, according to the company.
