Acculynk, a technology provider with the first software-only service for internet PIN debit, PaySecure, has announced that AirTran Airways, a US-based airlines, is now offering its customers the option to pay with PaySecure.

It has claimed that PaySecure allows consumers to use PIN debit to pay for online purchases at the merchant checkout, with no enrollment or username/password required. The consumers who use PaySecure for their debit card purchase need to enter their PIN on PaySecure’s graphical PIN-pad. The transaction is processed as PIN debit, leveraging AirTran’s existing infrastructure and processing relationship with Elavon, a global provider of payment processing solutions.

Ashish Bahl, CEO of Acculynk, said: “PaySecure offers consumers and merchants a safer alternative to using a debit card without a PIN on the internet.”
