Northeast Bank has launched mobile banking for personal banking customers, including a new application for iPhone users. The services enable the customers to access their accounts, transfer funds, and search for branches or ATMs using their web-enabled cell phones.
The customers need to sign up to the Northeast Online for mobile banking services. It has added that mobile banking provides options like checking balances and transferring funds. Customers can also sign up for alerts and have a text message automatically sent to them when their balance falls below a certain amount, or when their paycheck is direct deposited, with multiple layers of authentication to ensure transactions are secured.
Northeast Bank is headquartered in Lewiston, Maine and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Northeast Bancorp.
