Janney Montgomery Scott (Janney), a Philadelphia-based investment banking and financial services firm, has named Mark Belford and John Lindeman as managing directors and co-heads of the consumer & retail investment banking group.
Reportedly, Mr. Belford will assist in expanding the firm’s consumer practice, focusing on retail, apparel and restaurant clients. He will be working from Janney’s New York offices. Mr. Lindeman will assist in expanding the firm’s consumer practice, focusing on the food and beverage sectors and further developing Janney’s mergers and acquisitions practice. He will be working from Janney’s Philadelphia Office.
Andrew Schmucker, the firm’s head of investment banking, said: “Mr. Mark and Mr. John are important leadership additions to our investment banking department sector coverage.
