MF Global, an intermediary offering customized solutions in global cash, derivatives and related markets, has appointed Paul Farrell as global head of foreign exchange.

Reportedly, Mr. Farrell will be responsible for managing MF Global’s foreign exchange business across all customers, products and geographies around the world. He will be based in New York, overseeing foreign exchange teams in London, New York, Chicago, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Sydney.

Before joining MF Global, Mr. Farrell, who has nearly 35 years of financial services experience, held several management positions at JP Morgan Chase from 1973 to 2008.
