United Payment Services, a provider of electronic transaction processing services, has partnered with ControlScan, a Georgia-based provider of Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance and security solutions focused on small-to medium-sized merchants, to help its merchants meet mandatory requirements set by the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC).
Reportedly, United Payment Services merchants will now have access to ControlScan’s PCI 1-2-3 compliance solution, available online via ControlScan’s web-based merchant portal. It provides merchants with the tools and support necessary to analyse, remediate and validate PCI compliance.
Scott Rosen, president, United Payment Services, said: “To demonstrate our commitment to cardholder data security, United Payment Services has partnered with ControlScan to help our merchants validate compliance with the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). In partnering with ControlScan, we know that our merchants will receive an easy-to-use and affordable solution to help them achieve PCI compliance and protect their customers’ important information.”
Jethro Felton, executive vice president, sales and business development, ControlScan, said: “We see this as an opportunity to help United Payment Services maximize their small merchant compliance rates by providing a comprehensive outreach strategy and a PCI compliance solution designed with the small merchant in mind.”
