FBR Capital Markets Corporation has hired three managing directors within investment banking. Bob Brown joins the firm’s Financial Institutions group in Irvine, Larry Goldsmith joins the Real Estate group in Arlington and Andrew Guida joins the Mergers & Acquisitions group in New York.

Mr. Brown has more than 15 years of experience in finance and accounting and was most recently a member of Goldman Sachs’ Global Financial Institutions Investment Banking group. Mr. Goldsmith joins FBR Capital Markets following nearly 10 years at Banc of America Securities where he was most recently a managing director within its Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking group. Mr. Guida, a 15-year veteran of the financial services industry, joins FBR Capital Markets from Morgan Stanley where he was an executive director within the firm’s European Financial Institutions Investment Banking group.
