Vesta Corporation, a provider of electronic payment solutions, has been selected by Spanish mobile phone operator Yoigo, to create and deliver automated recharge service. Reportedly, the offering provides a way for Yoigo’s prepaid customers to add value to their accounts by using a credit or debit card.
This new functionality is expected to enable recharges quickly, anywhere via the internet. Vesta has said that the proprietary technology handles the recharge requests, validates customers’ payments, and quickly adds credit to customers’ accounts.
In addition to delivering internet recharge capability for Yoigo customers, Vesta offers the operator full indemnification from transaction fraud and manages all operations surrounding the service.
Lorcan Burke, VP of European sales and marketing at Vesta, said: “Yoigo has established a strong following in the Spanish mobile market by providing simple, economical services for its customers. The addition of this new, convenient recharge channel will add even more value to their offering.”
