Mr Maydew served as a director of the event driven proprietary trading team at ABN Amro/RBS. His team managed EUR2.5bn investing in merger arbitrage, dual listings, share classes and long/short equity trading. His buyside perspective will be a valuable resource in covering BTIG’s European clients.
Mr Levy was director of equity sales-trading at Pali International. He also served Bancaire Privee (UBP) in Geneva and Societe Generale Group.
Mr Benton was a sales trader in the European event driven product at Pali International. Prior to that, he was a proprietary trader at Bear Stearns and ING Bank.
Mr Levett was also a sales trader developing the event driven product at Pali International. He was also responsible for producing the firm’s daily notes to clients. He has also held a sales role at Bryan Garnier in London and was a financial journalist for AFX News and S&P Marketscope. Levett will strengthen BTIG’s current efforts in providing its clients with relevant and insightful market intelligence in London.
Mr Clegg was a sales trader on the event driven team. He previously worked at Mirabaud in London.
