Liberty Bancorp president and chief executive officer Brent Giles said Fisher has knowledge of the Northland community and leadership experience that will help the firm towards growth and service strategies.

Fisher has recently retired as superintendent of the Park Hill School District, following his service of 13 years, in addition to 14 years as Assistant Superintendent for Business Services for the Liberty Public Schools.

He currently serves as chair of the Platte County Economic Development Council and had been the former chair of the Missouri Securities Investment Program.

Offering full service banking services to both commercial and personal customers, the bank opened in 1955 and currently has ten branches in the Kansas City metropolitan area and a branch network in the Kansas City Northland area of Clay and Platte counties.
