As a result of business expansion in the country, the bank has been facing increased challenges to streamline its back-end processes and technology systems and thus chose IBM to overcome these challenges and manage future expansion program.
The newly launched data center will make the back-end management processes convenient and offer higher levels of service availability, assisting the bank to provide a positive end-user experience.

Built at the bank’s headquarters in the Ghanaian capital of Accra, the new data centre has been designed from the ground-up with the energy efficiency, business continuity, resiliency, security and disaster recovery.
Fidelity Bank is the first lender in Ghana to achieve ISO certification and offers mortgage and rural banking products in the country.
The bank is owned by Ghanaian and foreign individuals and institutional investors, which includes the Agricultural Development Bank, Africa Capital LLC, and the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), amongst others.
