Apart from reporting to Canada and Asia private banking senior vice-president and head Alexandra (Alex) Dousmanis-Curtis, Cormie will also regionally report to BMO Financial Group regional Asia CEO Albert Yu.
Before joining BMO, he was working with CIBC and has brought his full team of seasoned relationship managers who have strong understanding of the private banking and the investment needs of high-net-worth individuals in the region.
The firm said that it is all set to expand private banking business both in North America and in Asia and the recent appointment is part of the same strategy.
Providing numerous financial services and solutions, BMO manages its private banking businesses in Canada and the US and now, in Hong Kong and Singapore.
