Deployed over a ten month period, the new technology became operational in May 2013 after completion of a structured migration process which integrated data from UTB’s existing systems.

The migration will further simplify data management as well as expedite the reporting, thus enabling the lender to comply with new European reporting requirements.

Capabilities include embedded user configurability to launch new products quickly, advanced workflow management to modernize business processes and procedures with greater operating efficiency.

Commenting on the technology upgrade, UTB IT head William Dobbie said that the bank was seeking a robust system, which should be flexible and future proof and most importantly could be scaled to match its business environment and IT infrastructure.

"With Aurius, we have a more agile banking solution that provides flexible product design, customisable workflow and integrated multi-channel distribution capabilities," Dobbie added.

Incorporated in 1955, United Trust Bank (UTB) specializes in an array of secured funding facilities and deposit accounts.
