Expected to be introduced by the end of December 2013, the service will enable DIB customers to set up direct debits to pay for various bills and services.

In order to use the new service, the bank’s clients will have to register at noqodi.com, to make direct debit payments through DIB’s online banking service.

Dubai Islamic Bank electronic banking services SVP-head Musabbah Al Qaizi said that the bank constantly analyzes new technologies that enhance its customers’ overall banking experience with DIB.

"emaratech’s noqodi payment platform is a simple and safe way for our customers to set up payments for a wide range of essential services, and adds yet another layer of functionality to our e-banking channels," Qaizi added.
