Nowicki will oversee the support and development of an incorporated growth policy for the firm’s transactional trade finance business throughout the Americas.

Based in New York City, he will report to Erich Michel, head of structured trade finance for the Americas.

"Bill brings to BTMU more than 25 years of trade and supply chain experience, which will enhance our ability to provide clients with the guidance and expertise they require to navigate the global trade marketplace," Erich said.

"With BTMU’s extensive global network and the expansion of our dedicated trade finance team in the Americas, we are uniquely positioned to help our clients promote their cross-border trade transactions and manage their working capital requirements."

Before accepting the current role at BTMU, Nowicki held a several senior positions with HSBC, Citigroup, Standard Chartered and JP Morgan Chase in New York and Singapore.

Most recently, he was working as the head of trade & supply chain for North America at HSBC.
