In March 2010, Société Générale allowed UnionPay cards to be accepted at its 4,600 ATMs, and the recent agreement is a step ahead in the business co-operation between both parties.
Now, the merchant clients of Société Générale in France and in Monaco will be able to accept payment through UnionPay card.
For UnionPay International, getting access of the big merchant network of Société Générale will allow its cardholders to pay with their card at the targeted merchants in touristic areas.
