Pictet Asset Management expands Asia Total Return team

In this role, Cheung will co-manage Asia equity long/short funds and will report to Nidhi Mahurkar, head of Asia Equity Long/Short.

Previously, Cheung was at Gartmore Investment Management as an investment manager in the global emerging markets team, specializing in China.

Before Gartmore, he worked at ABN AMRO Asset Management and Central Asset Investments in Hong Kong.

Pictet head of Equities Total Return Philippe de Weck said Anthony’s appointment represents a significant reinforcement of group’s Asia long/short capabilities.
