With the implementation of the new technology, the bank aims to boost customer service quality and new financial products and emerge as a customer-centric bank in the country, where it manages more than 150 branches & offices in 27 key cities and provinces.

The new system operates on business process driven approach to banking automation, with the users being guided by the system through the subsequent steps of the predefined algorithms to ensure both fast and accurate work, reduced user errors and improved efficiency.

In order to support the bank’s existing and future business rules, all business processes are flexibly customizable and adjustable, which allows arranging a highly efficient support of all banking procedures.

Initially, a centralized payment system has been deployed, which enables the lender to centralize and increase the efficiency of its payment management processes and to decrease operating cost associated with the processes. Further automation of other critical business processes has also been planned.

VIB board of directors member Tran Nhat Minh said, "We believe that a multi-component FLEXTERA solution based on the most advanced technologies will allow us to streamline our business processes and increase the quality of our services."
