Reporting to Vikram Malhotra and Helman Sitohang, Asia Pacific co-heads of investment banking department at Credit Suisse, Huang and Escaler will oversee the bank’s coverage of clients in the Philippines and development of its franchise in the market.

Huang joined Credit Suisse’s investment banking team in Manila in 2004 and has led various high profile capital raising, liability management, as well as M&A transactions for the government and leading corporate in the country.

Before joining Credit Suisse, she acted with JP Morgan Chase, managing the investment banking and corporate banking businesses.

Escaler joins the Zurich headquartered bank from Goldman Sachs in Singapore, where he has served from 2008-2012, as an executive director responsible for Philippine coverage of the fixed income, currencies and commodities group.

Before that, he worked at ING Bank Manila as head of financial markets sales and ING New York as an emerging markets fixed income trader.
