Managed by Marc-André Gaudreau and his corporate credit team, the mutual fund invests primarily in North American investment grade corporate bonds and will also seek to enter into interest rate swaps to deliver a floating rate of income.

Dynamic Funds, which is managed by GCIC, said that the fund may also invest in floating rate debt and other fixed income securities looking for better yield.

GCIC president and CEO Jordy Chilcott said that advisors continue to search for ways to manage and diversify their fixed income holdings in anticipation of a rising interest rate environment.

"We believe this new fund is a unique and measured solution that will offer investors a competitive yield and help protect capital as interest rates climb," Chilcott added.

Further, Dynamic High Yield Credit Fund has been rebranded as Dynamic Credit Spectrum Fund to better reflect its flexible investment mandate, which allows it to invest into an array of credit investments.
