According to Henderson the new fund will use instruments such as contracts for difference and index futures to expand the scope of outperformance. The Henderson Horizon Fund – China Fund has been registered as a recognized fund in Singapore. The company also announced that the Luxembourg SICAV fund will be managed by Andrew Mattock.
Alex Henderson, managing director of Henderson in Asia, said: The fund’s primary focus is on high conviction stocks with long term earnings prospects to allow investors to participate in the long term economic growth prospects of China.
