The Lordi version of Sampo Bank’s international payment cards, Visa Electron, Visa and MasterCard, can be ordered from September 15, 2006, the Finnish bank has announced. The Lordi card will supplement Sampo Bank’s range of payment card images, which includes Finnish metal band Nightwish, artist Kaj Stenvall’s duck painting, and Marimekko’s poppy design.
Sampo Bank has launched the card to add to its range of payment cards that feature figures and persons who have attained a special place in the hearts of Finnish people.
The Finnish lender is not the only bank to have launched a range of cards based on rock/metal acts. For example, Chase Bank USA already offers a Kiss Visa card in the US.
